News from 19th of December

Here are the news from the beginning of December until the 19th:

2. Elon Musk unveiled the Optimus robot, likely powered by the humorous Grok model. Hopefully, Grok lacks dark humor.

3. Google announced Gemini, a multimodal AI claimed to be smarter than ChatGPT 4.0. However, they have only released the Gemini Pro version, now available in Bard. The smarter Gemini Ultra is expected in early 2024.

4. Instagram released an AI-powered background editing tool. It’s currently available only for US based users.

5. Google has launched Duet AI, a powerful chatbot coding assistant for application development, available for free until next year.
