LMStudio is easy to install and use. Once an AI model is downloaded, there is no need for an internet connection and your conversation is not shared with anyone.

Performance

The performance of LMStudio depends on the chat model that is downloaded. Our suggestion is to download models with either ‘instruct’ or ‘chat’ models in their names. Also, the smaller the model in terms of size the faster responses it would receive. For example, a 7B model is faster than a 13B model.
